Harry E. Thompson (American 1885-1968)

Harry Thompson was born on a farm at Locust Grove in southern Minnesota on December 13, 1885.He studied with artist Henry Gasser and at the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Art. Harry was a member of the Philadelphia Print Club and the New Hampshire Art Association. His works have been exhibited at the National Academy of Design, the Essex Watercolor Club,the Montclair Art Museum,the Smithsonian Institution and the California Society of etchers among others. Thompson died in New Hampshire on February 24, 1968.
